Not for the faint of heart
The lady at the front desk was friendly and really went out of her way to help, like she actually dried my dog off when we arrived in the rain. On top of that, the room was clean, and everything worked well, especially the air conditioning, a must after being on the road.
It wasn't exactly cheap but decent for what it was.

The room was pretty basic and had a strong smell, felt kind of outdated. The bed was alright but small, and the bathroom was cramped. Definitely had some cleanliness issues. The carpet looked newer but the surfaces didn't feel like they were properly cleaned. Had a microwave and fridge, nice, but the TV was old and didn't add much value. Seemed like you get what you pay for here.

The econo lodge had clean rooms and helpful staff. The bed felt just right, not too hard or soft. Its location is great since it's close to east central illinois. I liked that there was a continental breakfast, even though we left before it started.
